Benjamin Kendig was accepted into the US Army Air Corps flying school in September 1941 and graduated as a pilot in April 1942. Mr. Kendig departed overseas November 1942, serving in Egypt, Algiers, Tunisia, Sicily, and England, returning to the United States in July 1945. Lt. Col. Benjamin F.
