Bob Griese led the Dolphins to three consecutive Super Bowl appearances, including two Super Bowl victories (VII and VIII). Griese's talents eventually resulted in his induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990. Larry Csonka was the #1 pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 1968 Common Draft, the eighth player and first running back drafted in the first round. During the 1972 season, the Dolphins became the only team since the AFL-NFL Merger to go undefeated, and Csonka was an instrumental part of the success, rushing for a career best 1,117 yards and was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987. Paul Warfield was a wide receiver in the 1960s and 1970s known for his speed, fluid moves, grace, jumping ability and hands. He was a member of the 1972 Dolphins who completed the season an astounding 17-0. Warfield was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983.
